About the Cottage

High ceilings and original timber-lined walls convey the sense of times past, but comfort standards are of today. The main bedroom with French doors opening on to a screened verandah contains a Queen size bed and the second bedroom has a pair of King single beds. A double sofa bed is available in the lounge room area. All linen and bedding is supplied.

The toilet, shower and vanity facilities are each separate within the bathroom area. The laundry is fully equipped.

Kitchen appliances include fridge/freezer, range, microwave, kettle, toaster and dish washer. The kitchen is fully equipped with glasses, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. The gas BBQ is on the covered back verandah and BBQ equipment is supplied. Supplies can readily be obtained from the extensive shopping center in Cessnock 6km away.

Reverse cycle airconditioning is supplied to the living area and one bedroom. The main bedroom has an individual room heater and a wall-mounted fan.

A feature of the cottage is the screened side verandah where you can relax and enjoy the coolness of a long-established garden of ferns planted under the shelter of mature trees. All verandahs are provided with outdoor lighting.

Surrounding gardens and mown lawns encourage a diversity of bird life for you to enjoy. Relax quietly or share with friends the enjoyment of a pleasant place.
